Visit SEMO

Visit SEMO (short for Southeast Missouri) originially came to fruition because of pure female rage. As a woman owned business who LOVES other women-owned businesses- I wanted to use my platform to highlight a few of my favorite local women-owned businesses for National Women Owned Business Day. As I went to do some reseach to discover even more local women-owned businesses I quickly realized that unlike other surrounding area, no one had ever cared to put together a list of women-owned businesses in Southeast Missouri. That didn’t sit well with me- so I knew I had to do something about it.

While I am still passionate about keeping a growing list of local women-owned businesses- Visit SEMO has become SO much more. Visit SEMO has given me a fun creative outlet where I get to connect with local businesses and show them the potential of social media for their business all while providing free promotion on Visit SEMO’s quickly growing social media pages & helping locals or visitors of Southeast Missouri discover new businesses.
